Precisa la información del sitio oficial de la Cancillería cubana (Cubaminrex) que durante la estancia del titular antillano en Irán se han obtenido y proyectado resultados tangibles, de una relación de cooperación bilateral, a la altura de la estrecha relación política que une a los dos países.
Morales sostuvo encuentros con su homólogo y Copresidente de la Comisión Intergubernamental Irán-Cuba, Hassan Qazizadeh Hashem, realizó una presentación en la universidad médica de Irán, y visitó lugares de interés entre los que se incluyeron la universidad de Teherán, el Instituto Pasteur, la empresa Aryogen y varios centros de atención primaria de salud en la ciudad de Karash.
