La tarea metro a metro no es más que una iniciativa para reanimar las áreas del municipio a partir de la ubicación de una entidad estatal y por supuesto de la responsabilidad de organismos como Servicios Comunales, Viales entre otros, de mantener un entorno agradable a la vista del propio colombino y del visitante.
Según palabras de la presidenta del gobierno en Colón, Mayelín González Rojas, hoy están identificadas las principales problemáticas, sin embargo las transformaciones son insignificantes, principalmente en las entradas del municipio.
