“Esto constituye una abierta violación no solo de las resoluciones y normas de la ONU, sino también de los propósitos y principios fundacionales del ente multilateral”, subrayó.
Rivero condenó enérgicamente el intento de imponer un Gobierno al servicio de la Casa Blanca a través de un golpe de Estado en Venezuela.
También rechazó los recurrentes llamados de EE.UU. a los militares bolivarianos para que se sumen a esa embestida.
“Cuba rechaza que se use el foro de la Asamblea General, y por ende la ONU, para endosar agendas nacionales y maniobras políticas unilaterales, encaminadas a promover la injerencia en los asuntos internos de otros Estados, derrocar gobiernos legítimos y violar la soberanía e independencia política”, enfatizó.
