La práctica del judo se masifica en Los Arabos. Este deporte ha obtenido buenos resultados en competencias provinciales en las categorías pioneriles. En la actualidad atletas del municipio son promovidos a la Escuela de Iniciación Deportiva de Matanzas, gracias al esfuerzo del entrenador de esta disciplina, Yoel Cinta Cordero.
La constancia de los entrenamientos y el seguimiento a los atletas desde las escuelas son algunos de los logros alcanzados, según refiere dicho entrenador.
