El Ministro cubano de Educación Superior, José Ramón Saborido, arribó este lunes a Paraguay para participar en el cambio de mando presidencial del día 15 en la capital de ese país, informó la embajada de La Habana en Asunción.
El titular preside la comitiva cubana integrada además por el jefe de la sede diplomática Raúl Gortázar. En el año 2003, el líder histórico de la Revolución Cubana, Fidel Castro Ruz, estuvo presente en la proclamación como jefe de Estado de Nicanor Duarte Frutos, quien terminó su mandato en el 2008.
Al respecto, el embajador Gortazar destacó que las relaciones entre nuestro país y Paraguay son de respeto mutuo.
Hemos dado algunos pasos en el intercambio comercial y Cuba mantiene su ofrecimiento de colaborar en las ramas de la salud y educación, pero aún no hemos recibido respuestas del gobierno, dijo. (Fuente: PL).
