De imperial califican el accionar del pivot cubano Javier Justiz en España, protagonista el domingo en el éxito del Tecnyconta Zaragoza 76-69 sobre el Kirolbet Baskonia, para dar la gran sorpresa en los play-off de la Liga Endesa de baloncesto y avanzar a su segunda semifinal en la historia de la competición española.
Justiz, primer cubano en disputar una postemporada en el baloncesto español, confirmó su talento y logró por segundo juego consecutivo superar la barrera de los 10 tantos, al encestar cinco canastas de dos puntos de seis intentos, con cuatro unidades desde la zona de libres, para un total de 14 cartones, el segundo en mayor producción ofensiva dentro de los de Zaagoza.
A pesar de solo archivar cinco rebotes y una tapa, el gigante cubano recibió elogios por su férrea defensa y varios medios utilizan expresiones tales como: Justiz reinó, Justiz empezó a sobrevolar el aro rival.
El internacional cubano abandonó el choque por faltas y con su nariz perjudicada, tras la fuerte defensa que se vivió bajo las tablas.
En total, Javier Justiz despide la serie de cuartos de final con balance total de 25 cartones, nueve rebotes y tres tapones, entre lo mejor de la marea roja ante el Baskonia.
Ahora por el pase a la gran final, el Zaragoza enfrentará al Barça Lassa, uno de los más laureados de la competición con 18 títulos, el cual dominó igualmente en dos partidos al Divina Joventut.
La serie semifinal, al mejor de cinco desafíos se iniciará en el Pabellón Palau Blaugrana el próximo viernes siete de junio.
En el otro play-off, el campeón vigente Real Madrid espera por la definición del duelo entre el Valencia BC y el Unicaja, quienes disputarán el tercer juego el venidero martes 4 de junio.
