El décimo tercer Foro Social Mundial comienza este marte en la ciudad brasileña de San Salvador de Bahía, con una marcha que ocupará desde la plaza Campo Grande hasta la Castro Alves, conocida como Plaza del Pueblo.
En la movilización participarán más de veinte mil personas que darán vida a un encuentro que se extenderá hasta el próximo 17 de marzo bajo el lema “Resistir es crear, resistir es transformar”.
El día 14 se desarrollará un gran acto por la democracia en el estadio Pituacu, al que asistirán los expresidentes de Brasil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva y Dilma Rousseff, la expresidenta de Argentina, Cristina Fernández, el expresidente uruguayo José Mujica y el exprimer mandatario de Paraguay, Fernando Lugo.
El día 16 se realizará una Asamblea Mundial de Mujeres, encuentro dirigido a reconocer la urgencia del respeto a sus derechos y a debatir temas como la criminalización del aborto, el feminicidio y el combate contra la violencia.
Ese mismo día por la tarde se realizará la Asamblea Mundial de los Pueblos, Movimientos y Territorios en Resistencia en el campamento de los pueblos indígenas. (Tomado de Radio Habana Cuba)
