Con la participación de 120 delegados en representación de unos tres mil 500 miembros agrupados en 68 círculos de toda la nación italiana, comenzó en Parma el duodécimo congreso de la Asociación Nacional de Amistad Italia-Cuba (Anaic).
Durante tres días los asistentes al encuentro realizarán un balance del trabajo desarrollado en los últimos cuatro años, compartirán experiencias y buenas prácticas para optimizar el funcionamiento de la organización y elegirán la nueva directiva.
Una delegación encabezada por el primer vicepresidente del Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos, Elio Gámez, participa en la reunión, la cual tiene como sede el hotel CDH Parma & Congressi.
En declaraciones a Prensa Latina, el vicepresidente de la organización y secretario de su círculo de Roma, Marco Papacci, destacó la importancia del congreso como espacio fértil de ideas y nuevas metas, en apoyo a la Revolución Cubana, ante el recrudecimiento de la hostilidad por parte del gobierno de Estados Unidos.(Tomado de Radio Habana Cuba)
